WEEKLY GOAL
Complete my first ever half iron distance triathlon, take notes and get ready for the next month. This is a good chance to get caught up on life items that have been put on hold too.

Up at 0430 feeling good. I spent some nice quiet time with the foam roller to loosen up, had some toast with peanut butter.

I think I pretty much nailed the day. The caffeine from the Maurten (3 gels and a bottle) sat well in my stomach but kept me awake when I wanted to have a nap once I got home.

I rode to Esquimalt (not over Lampson Hill) to get my second COVID shot and I was amazed at how comfortable it felt.
